Snow removal proof · for solo operators
The claim arrives in April.
Win it in January.
One slip-and-fall lawsuit can eat a season's profit — and it's decided by records, not memory. PlowProof logs every visit in ten seconds: time in, work done, salt down, photos taken. Your winter, documented.
Why this matters
Slip-and-fall claims are won by whoever
kept the better records.
Courts and insurers weigh contemporaneous records — made at the time — far above anything reconstructed later. Commercial contracts increasingly require service verification, and claims can surface years after the storm. A clean log is how small operators keep big contracts and walk away from bad claims.
The ten-second visit log
Time-in fills itself, one tap per work chip — Plowed + Salted + Shoveled walks is one visit, not three forms. Built for gloved thumbs in a warm-ish cab.
Before / after that holds up
Two labeled photo slots per visit. “The lot was cleared at 5:40 AM” stops being your word against theirs — it's a dated photo pair.
Snow depth & salt, logged
Depth on arrival, bags or pounds of salt, weather chips. Next season you'll know exactly what every property really costs you.
Works in a blizzard, offline
Cell service dies exactly when the storm peaks. Everything — photos, times, notes — saves on your phone with no signal at all. No account, no cloud, no sync to fail.
Service Log & Season Report
Per-property Service Log PDF (full, or compact for email) for insurers and claims; a Season Report across your whole route — “42 documented visits, every one photographed” is a renewal pitch that wins contracts.
Yours forever
Snow software charges $20+/month for a solo operator. PlowProof is $19.99 once — the log that protects your business shouldn't be a rent payment.
Local-first · offline-first
Storms kill cell towers. Not your log.
PlowProof has no accounts, no cloud and no server to reach: every visit, photo and salt entry saves on your phone the moment you tap — in a whiteout, in a dead zone, at 4 AM. Your records back up to files you control.
Summer work too? JobProof — jobsite documentation · AmpCalc — electrical calculators.
- Nothing leaves your phone. No server, no account, no analytics — your records live on-device and export to your own iCloud Drive or Files.
- Yours, even if we disappear. Cloud tools get shut down and take your data with them. A local-first app can't be switched off from a server — your records stay files you control.
- Paid once. One-time purchase. No subscription, no upsell, updates included.
FAQ
Questions
Why do I need a log at all?
Slip-and-fall claims. They arrive months after the storm, and the contractor who can show when they serviced, what they did and what it looked like usually wins. Industry guidance says keep service records for 7 years.
Does it work offline?
Completely. Blizzards kill cell coverage; PlowProof doesn't care. Photos, times and notes save locally and never need a server.
How is this different from Plow360 or other snow software?
Those are dispatch platforms for fleets, priced per month. PlowProof is the solo operator's log: one-time $19.99, ten seconds per stop, and the two PDFs that matter — Service Log for claims, Season Report for renewals.
Per-push or seasonal contracts?
Both. Per-push properties show billable totals (visits × your rate); seasonal ones track the visit count your insurer and client want to see.
Can I log leaf cleanup or other off-season work?
You can — the work chips are editable, so add "Leaf cleanup" or "Mowed" once and they're one tap forever; snow depth and salt are optional fields. PlowProof is built winter-first, though: for summer jobsite documentation, JobProof is the purpose-built tool.
What happens when I get a new iPhone?
Everything moves with you. Your data rides along in your iPhone's own iCloud backup, and your purchase is tied to your Apple ID — restore the new phone, tap Restore Purchases, done. You never pay twice. The exportable backup file in iCloud Drive is your extra safety net.
Is it really a one-time purchase?
Yes. $19.99 once, yours forever, all updates included. No subscription, no per-property fees.
